ELEPHANTMEN: KILL KILL KILL
Wednesday, October 28th, 2009God damn, do I need me some of this:
They were genetically engineered to be suprahuman weapons of mass destruction, but now they must walk amongst the people they were created to destroy. Ebony Hide is one of them; an Elephantman. Even when he is befriended by a small girl, Hide is still haunted by his past and is forced to recognize that suspicion and contempt will always be his constant companions.
Ever since I started reading The World Without Us by Alan Weisman, I’ve been wanting us humans to just get the hell out of the way and let the MEGAFAUNA back in. All we are saying is give some suprahuman WMD’s a chance.
Starting from the beginning in Elephantmen may require a bit more digging than my current obsession The Walking Dead, which seems to be really popular at the moment (I found out about that series via Quimby’s somehow, maybe by following their tweets — I don’t remember). But what better excuse do I need to start to get to know my neighborhood comic aficionados at Comics for Collectors.
